Positioning You to Succeed Dispite  “Life’s Twists”

Giving Back

The Story of Jody:

The needs of the less fortunate impacted my life early.  In 4th grade, my parents adopted a little girl from Korea.  This baby was found in a trashcan next to a fire station and after much effort our family was blessed when she joined our home.  Adoption is not a easy task and the family impact can be stressful and financially draining.  That being said, my parents choose not to keep Jody after the 1 year trial period.  Coming home one day after school, my one plus year old sister was gone and soon to be placed with another loving family.  No good-byes were afforded and the hole left in the “big brothers” heart is huge.

The love for orphaned and foster care children continues.  One of my favorite places is www.casaontherock.org; yet, many of my trips abroad have worked in orphanages or schools.

Giving back:  For each 100,000.00 of agency premium, my family “sponsors” a foster child or orphaned child through “compassion” , “Bethany” , “World Vision”, or “Casa on the Rock”.

Today: We are proud to say we have “adopted” one child in Tanzania  through Compassion and three little ones in Guatemala (Pictures coming soon).

As of Nov/Dec 2007, we are looking to take on another 3 children for 2008.
